It’s Monday and time to post again. I’m wrestling with a new book. My heroine Captain Zeta Newland and Gabe Worth, the sheriff of Peaster, Tx. They’re the chaperones for Zeta’s niece’s senior prom. My H/H been stubborn about revealing themselves. As I’ve worked on the opening chapters, I realize Gabe’s coming out of his grief and will be the man who helps Zeta with her anger and confusion. They are two broken people who help each other. It was a relief to know their secrets. It’s important to know what drives your hero/heroine.
It sounds like a dower of a book, but it involves a tornado, an angry goat, and Zeta’s new car. I’ve smiled and wonder what next my characters will do. It’s been fun ride so far.
